If it set the default only for http and not for https then I guess [GNOME] bugzilla is the best place to go.</description>

		<description>If https isn&#039;t working for you its because it&#039;s disabled in gconf.  Open up gconf-editor and go to desktop-&gt;gnome-&gt;url-handlers  and then under there you will see http and https, you can define the command to use when those appear and if they are enabled.</description>
